Fourth Symposium on the Ecology, Status and Conservation of the Diamondback Terrapin
10-12 August Arlington Echo Outdoor Education Center Millersville, Maryland
The Diamondback Terrapin Working Group held the Fourth Symposium on the Ecology, Status and Conservation of the Diamondback Terrapin from 10-12 August 2007 at the Arlington Echo Outdoor Education Center in Millersville, Maryland. This national symposium is a forum to present and discuss research, conservation strategies, and educational programs focused on the diamondback terrapin. Presentations and posters are encouraged and interested individuals are welcome to attend.
We invited interested individuals involved in terrapin research, conservation, and education to attend and those with recent findings are encouraged to present at the symposium. Both presentations and posters are welcome. A symposium summary will be available in the near future including all titles and abstracts .
